Great customer service
"The garage had to change my mother due to equipment being broken in their garage. This was not an issue as they made it easy for me offering a car and an alternative date for my mother. Nothing seems too much trouble and they are very reliable."
"I can't fault the quality of the work done with regards to my car. They were efficient and very professional, customer service was excellent."
"Very happy with the service I received"
"I have used this garage for about 10 years both for cars I have purchased from them and now a car I purchased elsewhere. They are always friendly, helpful and do a good job. I have never felt ripped off and believe they only do work required. They keep you informed and always contact you if they find additional work that is required to discuss needs and cost."
In and out!
"Booked online the night before and was seen the next day. Finished within the hour! Fantastic service."
"Easy to use efficient booking system. Garage communicated well with me keeping me updated with cost of repair etc. Helpful and friendly staff."
It may not feature at the top of everyone’s UK city bucket list, but it probably should. From lace to DH Lawrence to the legend of Robin Hood, Nottingham’s heritage and social history are rich and fascinating. Add to that a burgeoning independent arts scene, a host of excellent museums and a trendy leisure culture, this exciting and handsome city will satisfy visitors of all ages.
Recently made a UNESCO City of Literature, Nottingham was the home of a number of literary giants such as Lord Bryon, D. H. Lawrence and Alan Sillitoe. But its status as an artistic hub is equally matched: Nottingham Contemporary is one of the UKs largest art centres.
Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery, the Museum of Nottingham Life and the Nottingham Industrial Museum are all superb. While the Creative Quarter set in and around the old Victorian lace factories is the place to find independent shops, street art and cool cafes. The Malt Cross, a gorgeous old music hall, has been fully restored to its former 19th century glass-domed glory and houses a stylish café-bar.
The Nottingham Cave Trail is a great family activity: a three-mile walk through some 500-plus medieval caverns beneath the city. The beauty of ancient native woodland is on your doorstep in Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve. Additionally Nottinghamshire boasts some splendid countryside, historic house estates and pretty villages.
Nottingham was named "England's least car-dependent city" and with its tram system, light rail network and excellent bus service you can see why. The city is situated near the M1 Motorway with access from junctions 24, 25 and 26. The M6 is also easy to get to from Nottingham and the A1, which runs from London to Edinburgh, passes through Nottinghamshire.
In terms of road safety and risk to motorists, East Midlands roads are two thirds more dangerous than those in the neighbouring West Midlands. But this stretch of the M1 has a good record for safety and many of the roads within the county are low to moderate risk.
