"Very friendly on phone, carried out the mot and then emailed me a quote, repairs carried out and 2 extra items found during work, they explained clearly what extra work was needed and the cost and stuck to what they had said , all you can ask really. Well done CCM"
Very good garage
"I have always had my car serviced by Audi but the price was an issue. I decided to try CCM and have been very impressed both with the work and the information provided to me. Will continue to use in the future."
"Great value, I’d recommend to anyone , they even sorted my screen wash jets without asking!"
Quality service & garage
"I was very happy with the services I received. Replacing brakes can be expensive work. While I had to spend a lot to get my car fixed, it wasn't as much as some of the horror stories I heard online about other garages. Also I know they used high quality parts and my car is running much more smoothly now. They kept me informed about what work would be needed throughout the day. Only negative was that I was supposed to get my MOT half price (for £19) because I was getting it with a full service, but when I got home and looked at my bill, I had been charged full price (£39). Overall quality service, good garage, would recommend."
"very friendly and work completed in good time with no unexpected problems"
"Rang as soon as it was done.. always a great service with these guys"

How do you choose the best garage for your service?
It’s usually only once a year but it has to be done - so where do you take your car for its service? To the garage round the corner because it’s the nearest, even though you don’t really understand what they tell you? To the place your friend recommends, even though it charges more than most Cranleigh garages? Or to a big, national chain garage - you’d rather support an independent but you feel safer with a big brand? BookMyGarage can give you the confidence to book differently. You’ll find Cranleigh garages near you rated by other car owners, with transparent, immediate details of their prices and services. Booking online takes just one minute, and the garage only sees what they need to know - no unnecessary sharing of your personal details. You and the garage get the full information on the booking, saving you and the garage even more time and hassle.
Do you know when your car needs a service?
When do you need to take your car in for a service? The general recommendation is that your car has a Full Service every 12 months (or 12,000 miles) and a Major Service every couple of years (or 24,000 miles). That said, the make, model, mileage and age of your vehicle will all affect how often it needs a service. Your owner’s manual is a good place to start to make sure you’re getting your car serviced when you should. You should also think about having an Interim Service every 6 months (or 6,000 miles) if you're covering long distances beyond Cranleigh on a regular basis, or you know your car has some issues.
What is a common car problem to look out for?
Now and again you might find it hard to turn the steering wheel or, worse, it might lock altogether. This is clearly a problem with the steering but it can have several different causes. Start by checking the power steering fluid levels - there may be a leak. Other causes might be a slipped steering pump belt, damage to the hose that connects to the power steering pump or to the rack and pinion seals. Steering problems that aren’t related to power steering might be the result of unequal tyre pressure, worn steering gear bearings, or loose steering linkage. If you can’t easily identify the cause, or can but aren’t sure how to fix it, BookMyGarage will show you garages in Cranleigh which can help with this type of problem.
How can you save money (and the environment) while you drive?
As every garage owner will tell you, there are some tried and tested ways to cut down on your petrol costs (and consumption) while you’re out and about in Cranleigh or beyond. One is to shut your windows. If you can hear that wind noise in your car it’s costing you more to drive. This is because the car becomes less aerodynamic and has to work harder to motor along. Removing a roof rack will improve your fuel efficiency for the same reason. Another useful tip is to combine short trips into one; each time you drive after your car has been parked for a while the engine will be cold and need to use a lot more fuel for the first 5 miles or so. If you do one trip from school drop-off to supermarket to office you’ll use far less fuel than if you do all those trips individually.
