"They picked my car up from my house, completed a service and mot (which it passed) before dropping it back off at my house a few later! Exceptionally convenient, and for £118 for a 320d service and MOT, exceptionally good value for money too!"
"Very speedy service, car was back in an hour which made me wonder what had been done as I’d also booked a mini valet. I need to return to garage as I’m still getting ‘your car needs servicing in ... days’ message on my dashboard, so they forgot to turn that off. Helpful friendly staff who try hard. Dont know where it was taken for mini valet!! Wouldn’t recommend the mini valet service & won’t bother in future as boot was left untouched & it needed a quick vacuum. Windows not cleaned inside, leather seats had crumbs in seams. Not the best clean! Having said that my last car was serviced here twice & they did a good job at good price."
"Carl on the service desk was extremely helpful with great customer service skills, however the customer service was let down by another bloke who I found quite short and abrupt"
"The car initially failed on emissions.. the garage sorted out the problem and got it through on the same day... and at a really reasonable cost. Recommended"
"They collected my car from work and finished it with in the day. I had an issue with my breaks which I was expecting as they haven’t been right. But they sorted this and feels like I’m driving a different car for the better."
Five star service
"Collected our car early Saturday morning, took payment over the phone, no problems or issues and returned our car within a few hours. Job done, very friendly and helpful."
Great service as always
"Always keep you informed of work and cost before it happens and great set of lads."
A great service
"Very satisfied with a services provided."
Coolant is a specially-formulated chemical liquid, commonly known as antifreeze, that circulates through a car’s engine. It removes excess heat from a car’s engine by passing it through the car’s radiator. Furthermore, the solution contains inhibitors that protect the metal, plastic and rubber in the cooling system from corrosion. And, as the name antifreeze suggests, it also doesn’t freeze up in bitterly cold conditions, so it plays an important role in a car all year long.
Coolant levels should be checked frequently, at least every 3-6 months. Low coolant can cause overheating, which would have serious implications for other components on the car. Even though coolant can leak and evaporate over time, in many cars it often looks as though the coolant never needs changing because its level seems to stay the same. However, draining and flushing the coolant system, including the radiator, at least once a year is important. Flushing pushes out all the old coolant, debris from corrosion and scale. If left in the engine, it may become clogged up, potentially causing extensive damage.
Before a mechanic drains the cooling system, he might add coolant cleaner to the coolant and then start the engine, depending on what the manufacturer specifies. After the car has run for a while, he would turn it off and drain it. He would then add water to flush it and drain it again, twice, before finally putting in the fresh coolant.
