"Didn't have to wait long, and wasn't sold any extras, staff was friendly also!"
"Highly recommend this garage. All my family use it. Only problem this time was that I booked online and requested a curtesy which I did not receive. Luckily I had family to pick me up."
"Steve from PCC called me straight after I booked my car in on their website and he arranged to collect my car and confirmed my online booking. There was no hassle and they called after inspecting my car to let me know exactly what work was needed and provided quotes. The service and repair was carried out the same day and my car driven back to me. I would recommend this garage and will be using them again."
Great service, good price
"I took my three-year old Audi A3 for its oil change and first MOT. Checking in was so easy - all the paperwork was ready on the front desk. At lunch-time I got a call to say that it had failed the MOT due to a nearly bald tyre. They quoted me a very reasonable price for a new one, ordered it to come on that afternoon's van and my car was ready by about 4. Quick checkout and that was that, a very happy customer. Much better than Audi in Harold Wood!"
Great, friendly service
"I were happy with the quality of service they even collected and returned my car. And I were always kept updated"
"Always good service and reasonable prices"
"Definitely use this garage again. Have already recommended to friends"
Better value than Audi
"Collected the car from home and brought back the same day once it was all done"
"Very happy with the service and workmanship"
Best garage in town!
"Great customer service, digital support to view mot is great, always someone on the end of the phone to help with issues- thank you "
"Service carried out with no issues. All seems well and communication was excellent"
The clutch is perhaps the most important part of a car’s transmission system. It comprises two metal plates which are responsible for maintaining a connection between the engine and the gearbox. When the driver depresses the clutch pedal the plates come apart, separating the engine from the drive wheels, allowing you to change gear. Bringing the pedal back up re-engages the plates which in turn connect the engine to the drive wheels.
Excessive noise and vibration from the clutch area can be caused by a bad release bearing or pilot bearing. If this is the case in your car, the garage will take apart the clutch assembly in order to replace the bearings.
If the clutch is grabbing and shuddering as it’s engaged, the garage may need to take a look at the flywheel as well. Many modern vehicles are fitted with a dual mass flywheel; a rotating mechanical device which can break down. There’s no easy way for garages to check for this without disassembling the clutch and inspecting the pressure plate and flywheel. If the clutch pedal is giving little or no resistance, the problem could be a seal leak in the master or slave cylinder.
With a reputation for building stylish and efficient cars, Audi has become one of the most popular premium car makes in the UK and is known as one of the best-selling luxury automobiles in the world. An extensive catalogue of beautiful, practical and well-built cars provides something to suit almost every need and nearly every budget.
At the cheaper end of the spectrum, you’ll find the Audi A1, while on the other end you’ll find the stunning Audi R8, a “supercar” loaded with a V10 engine and happily existing alongside the likes of premium makes such as Ferrari.
A range of SUVs known as ‘Q’, and Quattro four-wheel drive options on many cars cater to the off-road market, while the hybrid technology known as e-tron has helped cut costs across the board for a large number of Audi drivers.
