real good job
"you could not get better"
"Called when work was completed as requested. Have used Doug & Chris when specialising in tyres & fitting. Good genuine people. Give them a try you won't be disappointed."
Did what they said
"Excellent value for money"
"Very happy with the service received. They picked up and delivered my car back home leaving very neat paperwork. They had one query during the service but when they phoned me, there was no push to have unnecessary work done."
"Happy with work and would return"
"They were 15 minutes late to open but the mechanic had been stuck in traffic and was apologetic. The work was done in good time and to a high standard. The waiting area was good, with a settee, TV, and free WiFi. The mechanic fully explained the advisory my car had on its MOT, without pressuring me to pay for any unnecessary repair work. They put my car back on the street instead of making me drive it out of the work area. All in all, I'd recommend this service centre."
"a1 100% gr8 work you can be sure it is done very well"
Reliable and fair
"Great price, good work and decent people"
Garage keeping promises
"I have used this garage before but this was the first time I had used their website. The website advertised a free collection and delivery of the car and all the pricing information was on the website, so I decided to make my booking for an MOT and a Full Service via the website. The following morning I received not only an email confirming my booking but a telephone call too. On the day of my booking, my car was collected by a lovely gentleman who rang me later in the day, took payment over the phone and then brought the car back to me. Being dealt with by one person made the process easy and I was informed throughout the process of the progress of my car. I received the service I was promised by the website, no hidden extras, no excuses, just a job well done. I cannot recommend this garage highly enough, it does not matter who you speak to, everyone is courteous, helpful and willing to do all they can to make everything simple and straightforward."
"Quick and easy MOT service done, very happy with the service and communication between myself and the garage highly recommend"
When a car is moving over rough or uneven surfaces, shock absorbers help to stop the car bouncing or vibrating too much and ensure that the tyres have full contact with the road surface all the time.
Enormous demands are placed on certain parts of cars when being driven. Shock absorbers are found on a car’s suspension, where they take the strain of all the constant bouncing up and down of the vehicle. Most cars’ wheels also have them. Worn shock absorbers will affect the car’s handling and braking, which can reduce your safety.
Shock absorbers have a piston inside them that moves up and down in line with the suspension and, depending on the vehicle, hydraulic fluid or air chambers absorb the energy from the road caused by vibration.
Driving in the North East
With its vibrant major cities of Newcastle, Durham and Sunderland, the North East also has some of the most breathtaking drives in the country. The Northumberland coast is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, harbouring destinations such as the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Dunstanburgh Castle. The easternmost parts of the North East are also among the driest in the UK, although snow and ice can frequently cause traffic disruption in the winter months.
