Put car in for service and MOT, all good from Mercedes main dealer. Only negative point is Mercedes do not stamp up Mercedes service record when booking made through Book my Garage

I was not given the full A service that I had booked for through “book my garage” and they refused to update the service record for my vehicle. I’m having to go back to get additional items checked and paid for before they’ll stamp/update my service record.

We are sorry for the confusion, however you booked a Book my Garage service which is not the same as a Mercedes Benz Service. You will understand that we cannot log any service history with the manufacturer that hasn't been undertaken in the way that they specify. If you wanted a manufacturer service undertaken then a Book my Garage service is not comparable, and thus we are unable to log it with the manufacturer as completed. The additional charge is to complete all of the items the manufacturer states is due at this service, and required to qualify for the record to be entered with Mercedes Benz. We undertake the Book my Garage servicing as a budget option for our customers to ensure the car is having some level of maintenance, but is not as comprehensive as MB require.

My car was booked for the AM slot and it didn't get looked at until late afternoon. It was only booked for a major service. What's the point of having AM or PM slots? No Brainer....
