Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry that you had to wait longer than expected to get your car back, especially after settling the bill. We understand that once payment has been made, you naturally expect your vehicle will be returned promptly. On this occasion, the gearbox service took a couple of hours to complete, and we also needed to source the correct gearbox oil from the Volkswagen dealership, which added to the time. We appreciate your patience while we completed the work and did our best to get your car back to you the same day. The gearbox service is a scheduled maintenance item due every 40,000 miles, so carrying it out at the recommended interval helps keep the gearbox operating correctly and reduces the risk of future issues. We really appreciate your understanding and apologise again for the inconvenience caused.
