Hello, Can you please tell me what wrong information you have received? The £25 charge was for a retest fee due to the car failing mot and you then having the repairs done off site, this is a standardised fee set out in the mot testing guide and it is that of up too that half of the mot fee can be charged if the vehicle has been took away and repaired either by yourself or at another garage. As you can understand if the car fails and the repairs are carried out off site these must be checked as well as the rest of the car again to ensure the repair is carried out correctly and nothing else has happened in due course. This takes more of the garages time than if the vehicle was repaired at there premise
