Left car at 8:45 at garage for service. No contact until 17:45. Collected car to find there was a £55 extra charge for special oil. so it needed special oil point is he did not tell me of extra cost before doing the work.Took car home everything seemed ok.Then noticed service interval indicator not reset. He said he thought he had reset it but because car is new model did not know how to reset it. He said he would look into it and phone when he found the solution. 14days later still waiting!☹️

By way of explanation re: the oil upgrade: The service was booked through a third party platform (Book My Garage) which automatically creates the estimate. However, in this instance, it was incorrect and had not allowed for the oil upgrade. Therefore, we charged this at cost of £50 and discussed this with the customer when he collected the vehicle. He acknowledged that he knew the oil was approximately £90 and that the service was almost half the cost of that quoted by Jaguar. I amended our pricing structure on Book My Garage that day to avoid this problem occurring again. Re: service indicator: Service indicators can be problematic and often need re-setting. It is not the case that the technician did not know how to re-set it. However, our service manager spoke with the tech but then forgot to call the customer back and for that we apologise. Our service manager has since called the customer and the review is being retracted.
