I paid for a full servicing and MOT, informing the garage via text the garage about a fault on the wheel that was noted as an advisory on previous MOT. Additionally, I mentioned a whistling sound that I suspected might be related to the timing belt. Despite raising these concerns, neither issue was addressed. After the MOT, the noise from the wheel was still present, but not added as advisory. Worst still, I wasn’t informed about what work had been done on the car until I inquired.

Whilst we appreciate all customer comments with regard to our garage services so we can always continue to improve, we feel on this occasion your comments in this review are both unfair and inaccurate. At all times you were kept fully informed with the progress of the service and MOT which resulted in a failure due to excessive brake pad wear. Your vehicle was road tested by 2 different members of staff who were unable to either hear or identify any noise in relation to the timing belt or front wheels. It is unfair to complain about a previous MOT advisory which is not present at this years MOT as the tests were completed by 2 completely independent garages. All issues in relation to your MOT failure were addressed correctly. We also waited for you outside of business hours for collection.
