I urgently needed an MOT and ABS Auto Centre fit me in the same morning. The owner was friendly, offered a comfortable waiting area and a drink. The MOT took under 45 minutes but failed. He gave me a fair quote and reminded me about the free retest. When I returned for repairs, the job was done quickly and cheaper than expected. Great service, honest, and very professional. I’ll definitely use them again! Highly recommended.

Booked this garage as I needed mot urgently and this one could fit me in quickest, everything seemed ok, rang to say it had failed and on what, I asked for the price before agreeing to the work being done. Went to collect my car 2 days later and was told the bill was £200 more than originally told. When I said I wasn’t happy with that, the bill was reduced, but I still wasn’t happy. Left having to pay £60 more than originally told.

Hello Cara, Firstly thank you for leaving us feedback,it is much appreciated.It is important to provide a breakdown on as to what happend. You dropped your car to us for an MOT, which it was deemed unsafe by our tester. We informed you of this and were advised by yourself to carry out repairs. Unfortunatley whilst replacing the coil spring we noticed your shock absorber was also faulty. It is not always possible to know if the shock absorber is faulty untill we remove the coil spring. On discovering this we attempted to call you numerous times to no answer. We have a duty of care over all our customers and would not feel comfortble allowing you to drive away in a car which is unsafe. We discounted your MOT and labour costs plus added fuel to your car to ensure you left satisfied.
