Thank you for raising your concerns. We are sorry to hear that you feel your concerns regarding the coolant leak were not adequately addressed. We would like to clarify that the vehicle was booked into us for an MOT and service. During our inspection, we did identify the coolant leak and found that it was significant. We discussed our findings with you and advised that the water pump required replacement to address the issue. The brake pads and discs were also identified as requiring replacement as part of the MOT inspection. We explained the condition of the brakes and the work required to bring the vehicle up to the required standard. We therefore do not agree that the coolant leak was ignored or left unchecked. The leak was inspected, identified and brought to your attention, and we recommended replacement of the water pump as the appropriate repair. Ultimately, the decision as to which repairs to proceed with was yours we did say we will give you a quote but forgot and apologis.
