Heard nothing by 4.40 (close 5.30) so I called them. They said it would be ready shortly. I told them I had a 45 minute drive, if I had not called, no car for the weekend. I booked a "secret service" option through BookMyGarage at Vertu Toyota(Leicester), selecting the specialist oil option. The listed price was £232 per service. However, I ended up paying £280 on the day. When I asked why, the manager (Mr. Jay) told me that BookMyGarage services are carried out using non-genuine parts, which could invalidate the manufacturer warranty. He then offered to use genuine Toyota parts and extend the 1-year Toyota warranty, but only if I paid £50 more.
