I rang the garage my car was supposed to be booked in with just to double check and confirm a time for my MOT only for them to turn round and say they hadn’t had any MOT’s booked in for that day and they hadn’t even heard from book my garage so I had to take it else where as there had been 0 communication between the two

We have thoroughly checked our booking system for MOT and we genuinely have no record of an MOT booking under your name or vehicle registration. It appears there was unfortunately a breakdown in communication between 'Book My Garage' and our system, which led to this unfortunate situation and our inability to communicate with you. We understand entirely why you had to take your car elsewhere, and we sincerely apologise that this happened. This is certainly not the standard of service we aim to provide. I’m sorry for the inconvenience you experienced Sophie. For clarity, your booking was sent to the garage immediately on 12 June at 7:54 pm. Although the booking reached their inbox at that time, the garage did not open the email. When you amended the booking on 16 June at 9:49 am, we sent them an updated notification, which they did open at 11:44 am the same day. We notify garages of every booking and update, and they are expected to contact the customer, ideally within four hours of receipt, to confirm details. In this case, it appears the garage did not follow through, and we’re following up with them to prevent this happening again. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and apologise for the inconvenience it caused. If you need any assistance finding a new appointment or have further questions, please let us know.
Received email confirmation of my booking pretty soon after submitting. I was given the details of who would be collecting the car for MOT and the reg of their van. The morning of my booking someone called to advise that the garage was unable to do the MOT that day and rescheduled for the following day. Car was collected when stated and dropped back off later that afternoon, no problem.
I thought tyreoo was doing MOT Didn't realise they was taking the car to the MOT on Burnley Road. I hope they did do the MOT correctly as I have had problems with this garage before saying they did the work when they clearly didn't
