Southwest Motors

Brought the car for the MOT, there was an advisory on brakes. Got a quote for 94 for the brake parts and 54 for the labour. Approved it. Found out later that the total cost ballooned to 280 instead of 167. They added additional labour for 110 and never requested approval.

I booked via a third party site. BookMyGarage. They didn't update it on their own system initially but they didnt make a song and dance about it and just added me in a slot. The pricing is very good and they called me to inform of something which might fail the MOT and it did come up (advisory), i asked the advice if it should be done to avoid a fail and it being christmas and money being tighter than usual, they provided honest professional advice. I felt i could trust them unlike some garages

Very pleasant, honest, and helpful. Never had my car in a garage and felt ok about it but southwest made me feel good and to top it the car came out well and no additional unexpected cost. Will always use and trust them
