When your vehicle failed its MOT due to brake issues, further investigation was needed to identify the fault and provide a reliable repair estimate, which involved a technician stripping the brakes, a chargeable labour task. As there was some concern about this charge and we could not be completely certain it had been clearly agreed in advance, we waived the investigation cost as a gesture of goodwill. Our pricing reflects the time and expertise needed to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy. In this case, the brakes were in a dangerous condition, along with several failed bulbs. We always aim to be transparent and helpful and are happy to discuss any concerns directly.
