The amount you’ve mentioned does sound very cheap for both front and rear discs to be supplied and fitted, so it looks like you’ve managed to get a great deal with your local mechanic. When we inspected your vehicle, we gave our honest opinion based on what we saw at the time. The other garage clearly agreed that the discs needed replacing as they proceeded with the work, although prices will naturally vary from one location to another. We also re‑tested your vehicle free of charge as a goodwill gesture, even though we would normally apply a fee for that service. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best.
