Very stupidly took my car for MOT here… big mistake. 3 weeks before this, I had all discs and pads changed on all 4 corners at a genuine VW centre. Fast forward to the result of the MOT, my brake caliper has ‘ seized ‘ and needs replacing. Firstly, I was told they would contact Skoda for a new caliper (obviously going to cost a fortune) obviously I didn’t allow that. These ‘ mechanics ‘ are paid on a commission basis…go figure. Ended up charging me £80 to essentially take my wheel off. AVOID

Couldn’t be happier with the level of service - the front desk staff were superbly helpful, friendly yet very professional. The MOT was done quickly at a very reasonable price with a free valeting thrown in - what’s not to like !!

From the price (coming up as the cheapest a mystery bidder on Find My Garage), to the communications, helpfulness of staff and so forth, Evans Halshaw have been excellent all round. I was kept updated throughout, the car was picked up and delivered back for no extra charge and the workmanship (MOT & Service) was to a similar high standard. Very pleased with the all the services provided - well done.
