We strongly dispute this review. Your vehicle failed its MOT due to a defective side repeater. You were informed of the failure and quoted for the repair. You chose to consider the quotation and later called us back to authorise the work. At no point were you pressured. The allegation that we charged for a complete unit but only replaced a bulb is incorrect. This repeater is a SEALED UNIT – the bulb cannot be replaced separately. The complete unit was replaced and your ORIGINAL OLD UNIT remains in our office and is available as evidence. Regarding the alleged staining, the repeater is fitted externally and this repair does not involve the interior door panel. The vehicle also passed our QC inspection before collection with no such damage recorded. We take allegations of being “dishonest” very seriously. We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience.For clarity your vehicle came to us for a pre-MOT inspection, replacement of the rear brake pads and an oil service. The agreed work was carried out accordingly.Following this you contacted us regarding a quote for a turbocharger. We advised that we would get the quote to you “tomorrow”. We did attempt to contact you, however unfortunately the telephone number we had for you was not going through and we were unable to get hold of you.We’re also disappointed by the comments regarding the quality of our work. The work requested was completed and the vehicle was returned to you. You mention that another garage subsequently found issues and corrected some of our work but we were not contacted regarding these concerns or given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and establish exactly what issues were found.We take the quality of our work seriously and always complete to a high standard.
