“AVOID AT ALL COSTS”

I took my car in after a DriveTrain warning & after a diagnostic check, the quoted me £2000! They couldn’t diagnose the warning when questioned & instead jumped to saying about a broken chain & cam shaft, which made absolutely no sense mechanically. Luckily, I got a second garage to check it properly, confirmed it was just a minor VANOS fault from damp that had resolved and charged me £0. To make it worse, they didn’t even have a working card machine & wanted bank transfer only. PLEASE AVOID.

Good Morning Emily, We are really sorry to hear that, as we spoke yesterday , we were trasparently and told you ,our advise based on the diagnostic report provided to you, as the booking received from you was for diagnostic inspection. As we can see are not MINOR FAULTS in the report provided( 10 faults was only ( ENGINE DIGITAL MOTOR ELECTRONICS), that means vehicle has issues which the mechanic discussed with over the phone after the diagnostic inspection was completed .We understand your frustation as we can see the cost to be fixed is expensive , but was our advise and only a quote received to make sure the car is safe to be drive back on the road without any other issues, nobody force or insist to complete the work which the mechanic suggested to you. “Good, but not cheap.”

I used this garage because they provided a collection/delivery service and generally had good reviews, even if that meant paying more than other garage quotes. Communication with the garage was good and they were willing to provide a valet service as well. Didn't try to sell me tyres, although they were advisories. So, overall pleased and happy with the experience.
