Easy to book, car dealt with on time and to agreed cost. I had selected to have it cleaned as well but that wasn't done, or charged for, no big deal, it was new years eve so maybe a reduced crew available for cleaning?

I booked a 10am MOT. After waiting two hours with no update, I called and was told it wouldn’t be done until 4pm. They later said the car had failed due to an anti-roll bar issue and quoted £175 to fix it. I rang a local garage for a second opinion, and they said it shouldn’t have failed for that and they would do the repair for £60. So they kept me waiting six hours for a one-hour MOT, failed it for something it shouldn’t have failed on, and tried to charge three times the proper price.

Good communication, video, But disagree with mechanic saying three things urgently need doing, One being cuts in tyres, took it to Selecta and they said don't worry hardly any marks and thousands of miles left he must have been mistaken by the tread pattern! Also said air conditioning needed regassing, Hardly dangerous. Treated it like an MOT, And the two advisories I have were not even mentioned because not enough money to be made. Depends on which mechanic you get I suppose.
