Dropping my wife’s car off at ten am for a service and mot, at 4pm I received a phone call from BSM Skoda saying work needed to be carried out, the car needed a NSF drop link, the cost to carry out this work was £244-68. I declined this and on my way home picked up a drop link at Minorfern the price was less than £15 I am not a mechanic but have some basic knowledge, and completed this job in 40 mins. I have the car booked in at a different garage next week. Don’t like being ripped off.
