We have helped over 13.7 million drivers compare and save on their MOT, servicing and repair costs at local garages. In fact, when you compare MOT centres near you through our online comparison site, you can save up to 70% when you choose one of the lower-cost options!
As the UK’s leading MOT and service comparison site, we’re dedicated to helping drivers save money on their car maintenance. Here are just some of the ways we keep you in control of booking your Subaru's MOT:
Plenty of Choice. We may recommend certain MOT centres depending on your location, but you always have the final say. There are thousands of fast-fit, independent and franchised garages on our online comparison site, so you’re able to see all your options and choose the best one for you.
Transparent Prices. Every MOT centre listed on our comparison site always sets and updates its own prices, so there are no nasty surprises at the end of your appointment. This price won’t change unless you agree to extra repairs directly with them.
Clear Communication Throughout. After you make your booking, we’ll never leave you in the dark. Not only do we provide a confirmation email ourselves, but we also pass your contact details on to your chosen garage. This means they can keep in touch throughout the process. They may send you a confirmation email themselves and will contact you whenever there is a development with your Subaru MOT. That way, you get the peace of mind you deserve.
Easy 3-Step Booking Process. There’s no upfront registration and no faff. You just provide your vehicle’s details, choose the best deal and provide a suitable date and time for your Subaru MOT. That gives you more time to do the things you care about.
Compare deals and save up to 70% on your car maintenance when you choose one of the lower-cost options through BookMyGarage. Enter your vehicle reg and postcode to compare instant prices on your Subaru's MOT and book the best deal today.
After you book your Subaru MOT, we send you a confirmation email with a summary of your booking. We also inform the garage and they may also be in touch to confirm the appointment or to ask for extra details.
You never pay for your booking until after all the work has been completed and deal with the garage directly after the initial booking process. You also have the ability to change or cancel your booking for free until the day of your appointment.
If your Subaru is due an MOT test, you must book an appointment before the expiry date to continue driving on UK roads. The test checks whether your car meets road safety and environmental standards, and you will be prosecuted if caught driving without a valid MOT certificate.
The only exception to this rule is if you are driving it to a garage for repairs after a failed test or to a pre-booked MOT.
Book your MOT well in advance to avoid the risk of missing your test date. You can book up to 12 months in advance through our online comparison site and save up to 70% on an MOT near you in the process by comparing deals.
Enter your vehicle reg and postcode to compare instant prices and book a Subaru MOT near you in 2 steps today.
If you’re not sure when your Subaru MOT is due, enter your reg into our FREE MOT Checker & find out in a matter of seconds. We pull your vehicle’s information directly from the DVSA database to tell you exactly when your MOT is due.
You can then book an appointment in 3 simple steps if your expiry date is approaching.
Japanese firm Subaru’s heritage comes from the skies: the company developed out of the Nakajima Aircraft Company (1917-1945), which in its day was the largest aircraft manufacturer in Asia. In 1954 the company debuted its first automobile with the Subaru 500, Japan’s first mini, but Subaru’s story really started in 1972 with the launch of its symmetrical all wheel drive. It’s this factor above all which makes Subaru stand out from the crowd - 4x4 is standard on every car that Subaru sells in the UK (apart from the Justy city car).
Subaru currently sells seven models into the UK including the popular Outback, the original ‘crossover’ and a trusty and tough SUV. Other much loved models include the Forester, a slightly smaller SUV ideally suited to rural driving, and the Impreza - a rally champion turned practical family car.
Subaru owners display impressive brand loyalty, and for good reason. These cars are known for their longevity - it’s not unusual to see Foresters and Outbacks on the used car sales boards with over 200,000 miles on the clock. Part of the reason for this is Subaru’s unique flat-lying ‘boxer’ engines, with pistons which punch horizontally, like a boxer, rather than up and down as in a traditional engine. This means less vibration and friction, and better lubrication, particularly on start-up. In some ways, Subaru build cars which are seemingly almost indestructible! For safety and reliability across the board they consistently score very highly indeed with drivers and independent reviewers.
