Bad experience, not happy with the service

Told to have car at the garage for 8.30am for service and mot. Arrive at 8.29am to be told the car is booked in all day!! It wasn’t like I booked this a couple of days before so I would have expected to have an approx finish time not just to be told “we close at 5pm” and not get the car back until 4pm. Happy with price but can’t help but think special prices get done last. I would also like to know how you can justify charging £14.00 to change a key fob battery which only took me 90 secs for £1

This review is not to do with quality of work. I had my appointment cancelled by Stoneacre without them notifying me. I called the day before as I only had the confirmation email and been sent no further correspondence. I was then notified I had no appointment. They had cancelled the appointment and not notified me. I did speak to some from head office who was helpful managed to get me an appointment on the day I needed. Although it was 45miles away and more expensive! Not happy
