“Concerns after full service – issues later confirmed elsewhere”

Booked a full service but left with unresolved safety concerns. A tyre lost pressure rapidly after collection and I was told it was “fine”, despite it later being found to have a nail and require replacement. I was also concerned about a strong fuel/oil smell, which was dismissed as residual oil. No itemised service report was provided. A second garage identified serious brake wear requiring immediate replacement. Disappointed with the lack of transparency and how concerns were handled.

hi there, we are sorry that u had this type of experience from us,any car we services we do check pre mot check. so as ur vehicle brake pad issue, according to DVSA rules that has to be 1.5mm to fail or above 1.6 mm to advise to replace.if we did not do any of them, it means its road legal. Even we have let it go without any advise, as a organisation we would lose business. we hope that explain our site. many thanks
