i had booked in a couple months in advanced, i messaged the garage a couple days prior to make sure the correct oil was going to be used as my car had a wet belt. i was then told my car wasnt booked in as they hadn't received the booking.

Having investigated the booking, we can confirm that the garage was notified of your appointment as soon as the booking was submitted on 26 May at 9:31am. Our records also show that the notification email was opened by the garage on the same day at 12:23pm. Based on this information, it appears that the booking was successfully delivered to the garage and unfortunately seems to have slipped through the net at their end. As a result, they may not have had the full picture when discussing this with you. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after booking well in advance and proactively checking that the correct oil would be used for your vehicle. We have reached out to the garage directly to highlight the issue and to help ensure that situations like this do not occur again in the future.
