Lovely friendly garage
"Friendly efficient staff, MOT completely in a timely manner to a high standard."
"I would usually take my car to my local Arnold Clark for its service and MOT to a freelance mechanic in Braehead. This year I thought to use Drivers Autocentre on Firpark Street as I was quoted a good price online. They also provide a lift service and car loan which I took so that I could get about and not having to wait. My car has a problem of not passing the emissions test when it comes to the MOT. However, not only did it passed its emissions test and MOT I also saved a few hundred £'s if I had to take it to the mechanic in Braehead. Drivers Autocentre informed me by phone if any extra work was needed to be done and when my car was ready to be collected. Very good price and excellent service. I now know where to go for my car mechanical needs from now on."
"took the car in for a service and the turn around time was very good and even suggested additional work that i could have done that was done by previous garage, but wasnt forced to have it done at all"
"Super happy with the service - had my car collected and dropped back off. Everything was super pain free and easy to fit around work, kept up to date with everything. Great service!"
"Easy to organise, allowed me to change date and time with little notice. Friendly service and efficiently done."
"Decent service but priced high due to having only filters / oil replaced as i got all around brakes done for a similar cost at my local garage. Happy with the service as the mpg upon the vehicle has definitely improved. The staff who i dealt with were very polite and proffesional. I was not around to see the quality of work that was carried out but the paperwork / my advisory list are second to none. Motoserv are local to my work place so i decided to give them a try rather than book a day from work to have this completed at a local garage. Yes i were happy and i would use them again for the advisory 7 mot service as it were carried out very good with regards to the paperwork in that i received. Yes i would use them again."
Founded by a Scottish marine engineer in (you guessed it) Vauxhall, London in 1857, the company has been under the umbrella of American giant General Motors since 1925. Notable former Vauxhall cars include classics such as the Victor, Chevette, and Cavalier, while the current car range includes city cars like the Adam and Viva, extended range electric cars like the Ampera, the Astra, and the Zafira Tourer, a large MPV. Vauxhall also sells high-performance versions of a smattering of its offerings under the sub-brand VXR.
In the UK market at least, Vauxhall is regularly in the running with Ford to top the sales charts (although it’s never quite taken top spot).
About the Vauxhall Corsa
Due to generous offers on the sales front, the previous model of the Vauxhall Corsa was one of the most popular sold in the UK after its introduction, despite similar offerings from the other big producers. However, the current Corsa makes a number of improvements on its predecessor including loads of extra space and improved looks. With three and five door options, there’s something for everyone. The main issue that has come up with this make, particularly the 2008 Vauxhall Corsa, is clutch burnout. If that’s been a problem for you, we can help you find the right garage to fix the problem.
Common problems with Vauxhall cars
Other common issues and complaints for Vauxhall cars include engine stalling problems with the Vauxhall Astra, engine misfires for the Vauxhall Vectra, and reports of the Vauxhall Zafira losing power when accelerating.
Stick with the experts
It isn't always easy to get parts which is why we would strongly suggest going to a specialist Vauxhall garage if possible. If you're looking for information on a different model such as the Vauxhall Agira, the Vauxhall Cascada, or the Vauxhall Insignia, get in touch with your local Vauxhall garage directly and they'll be able to help out.
