Great Service & MOT
"couldn't be happier with this garage fast reliable work"
"Fast and efficient, additional works recommended and quoted for at a great price compared to others."
Great service at cutprice
"I was really happy with the service especially the free collection of the car from my house and then it being dropped off once the work was completed. However on the actual day I did have to ring to remind them to come for the car and also later to ask what time they would return it."
MOT WENT SMITHLY
"Very good customer service, dropped off first thing was done by 10am and ready to pick up will definitely be using them again!"
"Got a booking within a couple of days so quick in that sense and staff seemed friendly. However, I dropped my car off at 9am and asked for it back by 3pm if possible. I had to ring up at 2pm to check progress-was told another hour. I had to ring up again at 4pm to check progress as still no phone call to let me know and was conscious they closed at 5.30pm and worried it may need extra work etc which would mean I had no car again the next day. I was grateful of the quick booking but communication needs improving."
"Very pleased with the service. Really friendly helpful lady on reception. Have used them for a number of years now and always happy with the service."
"Another MOT Test passed, our second car we have had tested this year, always good service."
"Happy with the work."
Great customer service
"Great guys who got the MOT and necessary work done quickly and at a reasonable price! Will definitely use them again."

Coolant is a specially-formulated chemical liquid, commonly known as antifreeze, that circulates through a car’s engine. It removes excess heat from a car’s engine by passing it through the car’s radiator. Furthermore, the solution contains inhibitors that protect the metal, plastic and rubber in the cooling system from corrosion. And, as the name antifreeze suggests, it also doesn’t freeze up in bitterly cold conditions, so it plays an important role in a car all year long.
Coolant levels should be checked frequently, at least every 3-6 months. Low coolant can cause overheating, which would have serious implications for other components on the car. Even though coolant can leak and evaporate over time, in many cars it often looks as though the coolant never needs changing because its level seems to stay the same. However, draining and flushing the coolant system, including the radiator, at least once a year is important. Flushing pushes out all the old coolant, debris from corrosion and scale. If left in the engine, it may become clogged up, potentially causing extensive damage.
Before a mechanic drains the cooling system, he might add coolant cleaner to the coolant and then start the engine, depending on what the manufacturer specifies. After the car has run for a while, he would turn it off and drain it. He would then add water to flush it and drain it again, twice, before finally putting in the fresh coolant.
Driving in the North West
The North West region includes the major cities of Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool and Carlisle, as well large areas of unspoilt countryside in the UK. A land of superlatives, the Lake District boasts both the highest mountain (Scafell Pike) and the largest lake in England (Lake Windermere); Lakeland Fells in Cumbria is wettest place in England, and Cross Fell in the Pennines the coldest. As such, drivers in the North West need to be prepared for all manner of driving conditions and issues, particularly during the winter months.
