Got to the garage at arranged day/time said I had my car booked in for mot, for them to say “not here you haven’t “ I showed them the details on my phone & they said “ book my garage are supposed to ring and check with us , but they didn’t , so it’s not booked in & we can’t do it until the 16th ! ( this was booked for the 6th & my mot expired 8th ! Leaving me 2 days to find and book another garage ! Attitude awful

Hi Brian, Our apologies for the inconvenience caused. We contacted the site by phone on the 30th of the month. We spoke to them and were advised they were without an MOT tester on the date requested. We asked them to contact you and offer alternative date. We were advised this is fine and they will contact you to discuss. We are disappointed this did not take place and we will reach out to the head office to raise this to ensure that customers are called to allow sufficient time to look into alternative options. First off, never got a confirmation that booking had been taken or given a time (just "pm"). Had to email through book my garage & this was then forwarded to local branch to confirm. They never got back to me. So called day before but they do didn't seem to know about so not convinced this system works. Anyway, eventually took booking, but then messed me about on day, said would call if work needed, but didn't. Replaced parts ok, but didn't show defects. Not convinced needed or with service.

Seems like a good place but didn't have my clutch done as the quote on webpage was half what it should of been according to garage. Not sure who does the quotes , the garage or the website so I can't blame but certainly needs to be way more accurate than being quoted half the price , defeats object of the comparison site really .
