"Put my 10 year old car in for its annual MOT test and the car sailed through its test, the only thing that needed to be done was to secure a loose heatshield at the rear of the car - something I was already aware of and had alerted the garage to prior to my arrival. Despite the tightening up of the MOT standards, no other issues were noted which to me proves that this is an honest garage. Been using these guys for years now, so glad that they're really close to my work."
"Work was carried out quickly and staff were very friendly. Really glad I found them"

"The only thing I would say needs to improve is the condition of the courtesy car. It was an old Corsa and it was very dirty inside."
"Always good customer service. Did book online this time & booking never went through but they did fit me in on the day I had booked for."
"From booking the vehicle in to pick up when complete all went very well. Staff helpful and friendly and workmanship very good."
When you're driving on a bumpy surface, your car's shock absorbers help to stop the car moving about and vibrating too much.
They are installed on your car's suspension and most cars have a shock absorber for each wheel. Although they don't support the weight of your vehicle, they control the suspension over rough surfaces, keeping the tyres in full contact with the road at all times.
They also absorb the impact of up and down movements for the rear suspension (not many cars have a rear axle) and front suspension components.
A piston inside the shock absorber moves up and down along with the suspension and springs to absorb the energy from the road. Hydraulic fluid or air chambers in the shock absorbers absorb excess energy.
How to be a better driver
Whether you’re driving in Aberdeen or further afield, think about road user etiquette. Showing respect for other road users makes driving more pleasant for you and safer for everyone. For example, if you have to make a last minute change of lane, make your request to change clear to the driver who will need to let you in - and signal your thanks if they do. Be ready to abandon the change of lane if they won’t play ball - your safety (and that of other drivers and pedestrians) is more important than getting to your destination in the shortest time possible. When the position is reversed and a driver asks your permission to change lanes, allow them to as long as it is safe. If you get frustrated, avoid using your horn - it won’t improve matters and might make them considerably worse.
