Booked an MOT last minute to sell a van. Booked online, turned up, was told I should have rung to confirm. Why book online if I still have to ring to book? Anyway, did the MOT & van failed. Took to my usual garage to get a quote for the work. They told me half the stuff it failed on is nowhere near even an advisory. Shame because the mechanic seemed like a good guy. The manager rolled his eyes when I said I hadn’t called to confirm, though.
