Lansdowne Tyres

Very bad experience. I asked in writing for a pre-MOT check, but they carried out the MOT and failed the car. Repair quotes were highly inflated: £40 for a brake light switch (£14 elsewhere), £10 bulb (£1.49), £60 track rod end (~£35), plus £110 labour for ~30 mins work. It felt intentional to force repairs. After service, engine light came on—they just cleared it with a vague explanation. Very disappointed, won’t return.

Can't comment on work quality, but price was good. However, the name 'Lansdowne Tyres' doesn't appear on the forecourt, so I couldn't find it til I stopped at Lansdowne Garage to ask. They pointed to the garage nextdoor, which had a totally different name over the door! When I came to pay I was asked to pay Lansdowne Garage! I'd specifically avoided booking with them again after they did work leaving my car in a seriously dangerous state, which in addition lead to a lot of wasted time & money.

Very friendly staff. Great communication and the work that was carried out was of an excellent standard. I would highly recommended this company and will be using them again! Thank you.
