For clarity, your booking was for a Service & MOT. The schedule clearly sets out what is included, and replacement of shock absorbers is not part of a standard annual service. The shocks were recorded as an advisory following inspection. An advisory is a recommendation based on condition, not an included repair. No reputable garage would replace shock absorbers free of charge or automatically include them within a routine service. Any such work would require prior approval due to the cost involved. Collection times were also clearly communicated and are published online. Despite the vehicle being collected after our closing hours, a member of our team remained on site as a courtesy. We stand by the quality of our workmanship and the service provided in line with what was booked.
