Dreaded MOT and as to be expected my lovely old Honda failed but I was kept updated throughout the process by Pete and also in regard to a part that was proving extremely difficult to source of which they were determined to find so to avoid the alternative which would have increased the bill significantly . I really appreciate the effort that went into successfully finding the part and not leaving me penniless in the process . Massive thank-you to all at Halton TROY . Dawn

Hello Thomas, as you are aware your car failed the Mot test because the engine management light was on at the time of the test. We understand that this fault is intermittent, and when your car was presented for Mot last year the light was not on at the time. This was fortunate in that enabled you to get an Mot certificate without addressing the problem. Not so this year, but this is not our fault and we are not trying to rip you off. Surely you don't expect us to ignore obvious defects on your car and issue a pass certificate just to save you the cost of the repair? This review is both misleading and untrue and you should remove it.
