The guy at the garage seemed OK. But he had not received the booking from Book My Garage. I had taken the morning off work and then had to go to a funeral! I think this booking service is just a scam to get your details and then spam you with messages and emails. I would not use it again. I now have to find another Garage so my MOT doesn't run out!

I want to assure you that BookMyGarage is not a scam, and we take situations like this very seriously. For every booking, we send a confirmation email directly to the garage at the time the appointment is made. In this case, the confirmation was sent on 17/02/2026, followed by a reminder email on 21/02/2026. In addition to email notifications, every garage we work with has access to a dedicated online portal where they can manage their lead times, view bookings, and keep their availability up to date. This helps ensure appointments are properly received and prepared for. We will be reaching out to the garage to understand what went wrong and to make sure this does not happen again.
