I booked a MOT through book my garage last Saturday for the mot on the monday! I phoned early to ask what time my car was booked in as I hadn't heard anything only for them to tell me they were full. Book my garage doesn't look at a live booking system so they book you in but it's not guaranteed for a appointment! I would avoid using book my garage. Not Elite garages fault.

However, every business on our platform is fully responsible for managing their own availability, pricing, and settings through our self‑serve portal. This means that if the garage’s diary showed availability at the time you booked, it would have been because their settings allowed the slot to appear as open. If the garage has suggested that BookMyGarage was at fault, that isn’t strictly accurate, and we will be following this up with them to ensure this doesn’t happen again. The staff and mechanics at this garage are helpfully, knowledgeable and very friendly. So much so it is my now preferred garage and now use it for all vehicles requirements.
