Garages marked as "BMG Verified" meet our ongoing standards for reliability and customer care. We monitor their performance data, customer reviews and attendance rates. Garages must maintain SLA compliance and meet our customer care expectations to remain verified.
Our BMG-Verified Criteria
Premises Visit
A specialist from our 12-strong nationwide field team has physically verified its location and setup (wherever possible). In certain circumstances, such as for garages in Northern Ireland, online checks have been conducted instead.
Customer Service Standards
Garages commit to providing a high-quality user experience, consistently meeting our expectations for communication (clear, concise and timely), responsiveness and integrity.
Any negative garage review is checked by a member of our staff prior to publication ensuring we keep an audit trail of customer experiences.
Booking Reliability
Garages are expected to honour bookings at the price confirmed at the time of booking.
Ongoing Quality Monitoring
Garages are regularly reviewed against our SLAs and customer feedback.
What Happens If Standards Slip
Garages that no longer meet our criteria may be:
- Removed from the BMG-Verified list
- Delisted from BookMyGarage entirely
- If a tiered garage falls short of that tier criteria, it will move down a tier level until the requirements are achieved again

Verification is based on historical performance and ongoing monitoring. Individual outcomes may vary. While "Verified by BookMyGarage" garages meet our standards for customer service levels and reliability of bookings, we cannot guarantee individual responsiveness or outcomes. The garage remains solely responsible for the service provided. However, we support customers throughout their journey and work closely with garages to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.
And remember:
If a garage isn't marked as 'BMG-verified', it doesn't mean they don't deliver excellent service – many without the badge are still highly rated by customers – they may have just fallen short of one of our SLAs (and going through an improvement program until it is re-instated), or the garage may still be going through the verification process.

Top Tier
Reserved for the single best-performing garage in each area. This badge is exclusive to one garage per location.
Gold Tier
Given to the garages with the most exceptional performance across the board.
Silver Tier
Recognizes garages that consistently meet our high standards for booking reliability and customer satisfaction.
