"I have booked MOT and Interim Service via this website to F1 Ipswich. Total £85 (interim service £60 + £25 MOT), When I showed the confirmation I have been told by F1 manager TERRY to ignore it and told me £90 short service and MOT £35. I said OK as my MOT is running out on 11th July. I left my car at 8:45 in the morning as I was asked, Terry said he is going to give me call if anything else needed done on MOT but I never received any call from F1. 3:30 PM when I rang, Terry Said he got my number wrong , which was a lie, as it was booked online for 4 July, Terry called my number to change on 7 July so he had my number. I have been told to come at 4:45. At 5:10 I was in the garage to pick up the car, everyone was in the garage but I have been told to come back tomorrow as he had shut down the computer and he will have to reboot it again to take the payment. What’s the point of using a website to book a garage but when you go to the garage they told me to ignore it."
"Courtesy car engine management light and oil light came on. Not ideal but staff very apologetic"

Any rotating object has to be balanced in order to reduce vibration and optimise its performance. We're all familiar with the vibration caused by an unevenly loaded washing machine drum; that's what your car tyres have to endure if the wheels have not been properly balanced. As a tyre wears, its balance may change slightly. And when you have new car tyres fitted, you will definitely need to have your wheels balanced.
If your car has a wheel that is out of balance, you will probably notice it most at speed. Often you will find there is a particular speed where this is most noticeable, and you’ll feel it through your steering wheel.
Your garage will usually take the wheel off the car to check its balance. They put the wheel in a machine that spins the it, and measures the vibration. The mechanic adds small weights to the rim of the wheel - the balancing machine tells him where to attach them - and the mechanic repeats the test until the wheel is satisfactorily balanced.
How to be a better driver
Whether you’re driving in Ipswich or further afield, think about road user etiquette. Showing respect for other road users makes driving more pleasant for you and safer for everyone. For example, if you have to make a last minute change of lane, make your request to change clear to the driver who will need to let you in - and signal your thanks if they do. Be ready to abandon the change of lane if they won’t play ball - your safety (and that of other drivers and pedestrians) is more important than getting to your destination in the shortest time possible. When the position is reversed and a driver asks your permission to change lanes, allow them to as long as it is safe. If you get frustrated, avoid using your horn - it won’t improve matters and might make them considerably worse.
