"100% happy with Westbere Garage. Rang around for a same day MOT- only Garage in the area happy to slot me in. Really friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic value for money. Definitely gained a long term customer here!"
"I am happy with the service I received and the gentlemen I spoke to were very friendly and completed the work with no hassle and showed great workmanship. I thought they were very helpful, (kept me informed while I waited for my wing mirror to be delivered). I will be going back next time when I need work doing....especially as they give you a loyalty card and wouldn't grumble about the price either! ;)"
"Really pleased with my experience. They came and collected the car and dropped it back for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did call after 3 hours for an update as I was getting nervous about the amount of time and not hearing anything (but that's just me!) Thank you All Cars!"
"I was taken seriously (an unusual experience for a woman at at garage). John was honest about his knowledge of my very unusual car. He passed me on to a mechanic who was experienced with my car. John told me not to listen to anyone who said my car needed a service. He was honest, very efficient and very supportive."
"Brilliant, they went through the car thoroughly, I can now drive assured the car is safe to be on the road"

"No complaints. Very friendly and efficient and excellent value for money. Gave me a good price for brakes too."
Friendly & great value
"Had a full service carried out which was completed in just a few hours. Friendly and helpful staff who happily dealt with a request to swap my front tyres to the back, despite asking once they had finished the service, free of charge."
Any rotating object has to be balanced in order to reduce vibration and optimise its performance. We're all familiar with the vibration caused by an unevenly loaded washing machine drum; that's what your car tyres have to endure if the wheels have not been properly balanced. As a tyre wears, its balance may change slightly. And when you have new car tyres fitted, you will definitely need to have your wheels balanced.
If your car has a wheel that is out of balance, you will probably notice it most at speed. Often you will find there is a particular speed where this is most noticeable, and you’ll feel it through your steering wheel.
Your garage will usually take the wheel off the car to check its balance. They put the wheel in a machine that spins the it, and measures the vibration. The mechanic adds small weights to the rim of the wheel - the balancing machine tells him where to attach them - and the mechanic repeats the test until the wheel is satisfactorily balanced.
Daihatsu is the oldest of all the Japanese car manufacturers, harking all the way back to 1907 when it began trading as the Hatsudoki Seizo Company ltd. In 1953 they began exporting models, by this time as Daihatsu, although in the last twenty years or so these markets have contracted, and the marque hasn’t sold cars in the UK since 2011. These days Daihatsu is owned by Toyota, despite which there are still plenty of Daihatsus on British roads. The most frequently seen models are the mini SUV Terios, and the Materia minivan.
What do you need from your garage?
We all have different needs, and choosing a garage is no different. For some of us, it’s the quality of the overall service which matters most; not just the work that’s done under the bonnet, but the human interaction that comes with it. BookMyGarage allows you to compare High Wycombe garages on everything from their waiting room refreshments or whether having your toddler in tow is going to be a problem, to how clearly the staff can explain the work your car requires.
