"MOT on time, was quick and efficient - a pass always helps ! Staff were helpful as usual."
"My husband and I have been using central auto point for a few years after being recommended by a friend. I have since recommended family members and friends because the garage is so good. I came in to have my car MOT last Friday, I recently had a baby and had to bring him with me. I struggle to park in tight spaces (not the best driver in the world) and one of the staff passing noticed I was getting flustered and knocked on my window and told me he would take care of it for me. When I went inside, the two gentlemen behind the desk couldn’t have been more kind to me. The older gentleman even went as far as too comfort my baby when I needed a hand when paying. The staff are thoughtful and kind, they explain what repairs I may need without using jargon, the prices are always clear and the work is always done quickly and I can see it all on the screen. I would really recommend using central auto point, Thank you"

A car radiator disperses heat away from the main engine block. A car engine works by burning fuel (whether petrol or diesel), and this generates a considerable amount of heat. In addition, a car engine has many moving parts; this movement creates friction, which in turn adds to the heat.
Because a car engine must remain not too hot in order to avoid overheating and seizure, when it reaches a certain temperature the thermostat opens to allow the flow of coolant and water around the engine and back to the radiator, where it loses heat to the cooler surrounding air. The front grill of the car allows outside air to blow over the radiator. If the radiator gets too hot, for example on a very hot day, or when the car is stationary, a fan behind the radiator starts, helping to blow air over it.
The most common reason for needing a car radiator repair is a leak. There are many seals, gaskets and hoses in the cooling system that can deteriorate or get a hole in them. Furthermore, every radiator needs to be properly maintained and the coolant must be kept topped up. Your garage should provide coolant changes at the same time as your annual service.
It’s also a good idea to check your car’s coolant level regularly. If it seems to be dropping a lot, then you may have a leak in the cooling system.
Another German car manufacturer, the brand is best known for luxury automobiles (alongside buses, coaches, and trucks), although altogether Mercedes Benz is one of the most recognised automotive brands in the world. With the slogan “The best or Nothing”, you know they are dedicated to creating the best vehicles out there.
Mercedes has long been synonymous with a certain class of premium vehicle. Today they offer a wide range of cars covering the gamut of offerings, from compact to ultra-luxurious, with something for everyone. They’re also known for their sports cars, providing a perfect mix of comfort and performance - even if they aren’t the fastest in the game.
At the bigger end of things, you have the full range of Mercedes SUVs known as ‘GL’. But it’s not all fun and games, and you can find something much more practical in their large spectrum of hatchbacks, saloons, coupes, family cars, and the van-sized V-Class.
