Fab customer service
"So I will be completely honest in my review. I f**ked up and went to tax my car but then found out I had forgotten to do my mot on my car, so I found the nearest place to get it done as soon as possible. The reason I mention this is it meant I was happy with anything as long as it got done and hadn't looked at any reviews or anything and was in a very bad mood, I just booked it and that was that. I turn up and am personally greeted by my name with a handshake. Good start! He then proceeds to get straight tot he works and keeps me updated the whole time. So I failed the mot and needed new tyres. He then advises me the best place to go for value and quality. Although the guy is in my good books but then says ' just bring it in tomorrow any time after you've got new tyres and I will retest it for you'. True to his word he does this for me, I then get my wallet out and he's like no, the retest is included in the price. Takes my details and signs me up to get a test reminded before mot runs out next year."

A car radiator disperses heat away from the main engine block. A car engine works by burning fuel (whether petrol or diesel), and this generates a considerable amount of heat. In addition, a car engine has many moving parts; this movement creates friction, which in turn adds to the heat.
Because a car engine must remain not too hot in order to avoid overheating and seizure, when it reaches a certain temperature the thermostat opens to allow the flow of coolant and water around the engine and back to the radiator, where it loses heat to the cooler surrounding air. The front grill of the car allows outside air to blow over the radiator. If the radiator gets too hot, for example on a very hot day, or when the car is stationary, a fan behind the radiator starts, helping to blow air over it.
The most common reason for needing a car radiator repair is a leak. There are many seals, gaskets and hoses in the cooling system that can deteriorate or get a hole in them. Furthermore, every radiator needs to be properly maintained and the coolant must be kept topped up. Your garage should provide coolant changes at the same time as your annual service.
It’s also a good idea to check your car’s coolant level regularly. If it seems to be dropping a lot, then you may have a leak in the cooling system.
Driving in the East Midlands
From Lincoln’s winding streets and glorious medieval cathedral, to legendary Sherwood Forest and the natural drama of the Peaks, the East Midlands is a varied region. 88% of the land is rural, though the major cities of Nottingham, Leicester and Derby mean that the population stands at around 4.5 million. The geographical centre of England lies in Higham on the Hill in west Leicestershire, close to the boundary between the East and West Midlands.
