"Booked in for service and was offered cave collection from my house at no extra charge. This was very convenient for me and stress free! Was kept up to date throughout the day. Would definitely use again and recommend."
"Happy with work, friendly staff and good value"
"Happy with service"
"The staff are friendly and the car was ready to collect at the agreed time. I would like to have had a tick list showing what had been looked at. It seemed to be good value for money. There were no repairs needed so the last field was not applicable, but the survey would not submit without me filling something in"
"They were excellent very friendly very efficient and very helpful"
"Excellent service from start to finish. Staff are friendly and helpful, everything was stress free and value for money. As a female customer who has not always had great experiences from some other garages, I cannot recommend Visick Cars enough."

Good local service
"Good location due to convenience to my work. If i was being picky i would like the garage to open at 0815 instead of 0830 just so i could have got to work on time. Good parking facilities to garage. Nice helpful service. All paperwork ready when i collected the car. Not the first time I've used this garage and will definitely use them again."
A car radiator disperses heat away from the main engine block. A car engine works by burning fuel (whether petrol or diesel), and this generates a considerable amount of heat. In addition, a car engine has many moving parts; this movement creates friction, which in turn adds to the heat.
Because a car engine must remain not too hot in order to avoid overheating and seizure, when it reaches a certain temperature the thermostat opens to allow the flow of coolant and water around the engine and back to the radiator, where it loses heat to the cooler surrounding air. The front grill of the car allows outside air to blow over the radiator. If the radiator gets too hot, for example on a very hot day, or when the car is stationary, a fan behind the radiator starts, helping to blow air over it.
The most common reason for needing a car radiator repair is a leak. There are many seals, gaskets and hoses in the cooling system that can deteriorate or get a hole in them. Furthermore, every radiator needs to be properly maintained and the coolant must be kept topped up. Your garage should provide coolant changes at the same time as your annual service.
It’s also a good idea to check your car’s coolant level regularly. If it seems to be dropping a lot, then you may have a leak in the cooling system.
A French dealer renowned for the sporty qualities of its small cars, Peugeot is as popular now as it was nearly a hundred years ago. A part of PSA Peugeot Citroen, the family business that preceded the current company was founded back in 1810, although in those days they manufactured bicycles and coffee mills!
While still known for its small, sporty and economical models, Peugeot now make a wide variety of differently shaped and sized cars. You’ll also notice that Peugeot have defiantly skipped the long-standing trend of naming their cars, instead choosing to use numbers and letters (3008, 5008, and RCZ, for example).
Today the range includes three sporty vehicles - the 208 and 308 GTi, which are hatchbacks, and the RCZ coupe, among others. The range spans ultra compact cars to spacious SUVs, and family friendly vehicles to more flashier options, like the aforementioned RCZ.
