Thanks for your review. For clarity, MOTs are always completed first, and the service starts once a technician and free ramp are available, it isn’t done on the MOT bay. It’s not uncommon for a garage to need the vehicle for the full day when multiple jobs are booked, as we can’t predict what will be left from previous day. On the day of your booking, 3 of our 5 ramps were out of action due to supply delays on vehicles that couldn’t be moved, which caused delays across the day. Your MOT and service were completed in full, and you received the service sheet and itemised invoice. The service book stamp is an admin step done once paperwork is finalised and was simply missed while the team were working up against it. We won’t compromise safety or standards to rush the actual work on cars.
