Wonderful warm experience, excellent team from the receptionist, to the mechanics. I will be collecting my car next week but they explained to me all that needed doing, of which i knew most of it. Reasonable price for the amount of work needed, i thought i would right off the car, but when i heard the price i chose to have it sorted. Thank you again for your excellent customer service.

Cowboy company trying to get extra money. They failed my mot on the basis of leveling head light wasn’t working stating it would need to be investigated and it would be £85+vat and then the part is going to be very expensive but receptionist couldn’t tell me how much as when asked she was like “I’m new I don’t know” got my mechanic to look at it and the plug for the headlights had been pulled out!! Only had the car a year and there’s no way it just comes out

Hi Donna, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry you were unhappy, especially as it was lovely to see you back for your free retest chatting with the team in the waiting room. We wish you’d mentioned your concerns then, as we’d have gladly talked them through. To clarify, your car failed its MOT as the headlamp levelling device wasn’t working. DVSA rules don’t allow our MOT testers to investigate or repair during a test, though our tester did check the fuses as a goodwill gesture before returning your car. Our labour rate is £85 + VAT per hour, but we only charge for time spent and for a loose connector we wouldn’t have charged at all. If needed, part costs vary by make and model so can’t be quoted until a fault is diagnosed. We’re pleased your mechanic found the cause quickly, as that investigation is exactly what we recommended.
