“Great service, thoughtful mechanics and careful diagnosis of problems.”

They keep my old car running by carefully and professionally diagnosing and correcting problems (in a way that the big franchises and chains do not in my experience). All that good work is done promptly, politely and without fuss. I don't compare prices but the pricing seems reasonable to me, given the solutions and repairs done have enduring effect.

“BOOKING NOT RECEIVED AT GRIMSDYKE SER. STN. FROM BOOKMYGARAGE”

Phoned GRIMSDYKE Service Station day before booking which was with BOOKMYGARAGE to find out what time to bring car in. I was told they did NOT have a booking! The lady said don’t worry bring it in at 3pm this was for a MOT. Staff very friendly but car failed MOT and was told they could not get it repaired until 6 days later! MOT well expired by then. Not that impressed with this garage and would probably not use them again.

Thank you for your feedback. We apoligise for the confusion regarding your booking. While it appears we did not receive your original booking request, we ensured that your vehicle was MOT'd on the day you requested, which was the day before its MOT was due to expire. Unfortunately, your vehicle did not pass the MOT. Please note that an MOT failure reflects whether important components meet the legal standards set by DVSA, rather than the quality of our work. We did offer to keep your vehicle and try to fit in the repairs as soon as possible, however you declined this due to needing the vehicle. So we scheduled the necessary repairs for our next available appointment, which was 4 working days later. We also informed you that the vehicle could be taken to any garage for the repairs.
