“Mot and service”

Great service booking easy and picked up early morning and delivered back end of the day Although mot tester wrongly found rear pads low and car had to go back for inspection that found rear brakes fine as they was only fitted 1388 miles by this garage This is only been stated as advised but has been corrected . I would say the mot inspector should improve on a few things .

Thank you for your review — we’re pleased the booking and same‑day turnaround worked well for you. Regarding the MOT advisory, the tester couldn’t physically see the rear brake pads fully during the inspection, as wheels are not removed during an MOT. Advisories are always at the tester’s discretion and are not legal requirements, they are simply noted as precautionary. With your type of transmission, the rear brakes do tend to work harder, so it was reasonable for him to flag it as a “just‑in‑case” advisory as he does not have access to the history of your vehicle. Once the vehicle was brought back in, we were able to inspect the brakes properly and confirm they were absolutely fine, especially as they were only fitted 1,388 miles ago.
