“Expensive, was told things were required when they were optional.”

I booked a full service and I expected to pay £175. I was called and told that I required a new pollen filter and new spark plugs. As this was only my second service and with my upcoming MOT due I said that what needed to be done should be done. I also had new break pads fitted which I was fine with as it would've been an advisory. In the end I paid £450. I feel they saw me, a young woman, and thought they could make me pay more just for not knowing. I was later told these were optional extras.

Our policy ensures 100% transparency: extra work (e.g., pollen filter, spark plugs, new brake pads) is only done after your explicit agreement on work and cost. Pollen filter and spark plugs showed significant wear; replacement was recommended per manufacturer guidelines. Cost increased due to necessary parts/labour for approved work; we strive for competitive pricing. We appreciate your business.
