I've used this garage for several years now. They're always reliable and friendly. In the past they've been more accommodating than another local garage and completed the work for a cheaper price too.

“Very slow. Need booking slots.”

MOT itself on the car was good but the time taken was unacceptable. Dropped off at 8.30am did not finish until 4pm. Poor communication. Retest took longer. Would not do it next day. Dropped off early morning did not finish until after 5pm. No updates. Had to chase up progress. Need improving, such as booking slots. Allow customers to wait while MOT it is done.

1 Stop Motors are amazed at this review yet not surprised , when making your booking as per the tel conversation there are 2 options through the Book My Garage (not our portal) either for an Am or Pm , when you dropped your car off and you asked when could you expect it back i stated at that point that due to staff illness it could take till 5.00 as we offer drop offs from 07.00 you were the last to drop off therefore we believe it is only fair to do them in the order the cars are dropped off however i said i would call you as soon as it was done , therefore when you called later that morning for the first time stating you needed it back for lunch time i was amazed as when you left you made no mention of this expectation. AS far as the retest after your car had failed its Mot i stated given you were having the work done at your usual garage (with no indication of when) to call me and i would arrange a while u wait retest - you didn't you turned up unarranged expecting a retest !
