“small improvements”

all work done and vehicle back ingood time all service parts complete only down side must have spilled oil in engine bay when topping. After leaving garage and parked up found pool of oil under vehicle why it had rund down engine block other than that great service frendly staff

“No car parking and failed MOT”

Arrived at 8:30 and there were no instructions on where to park so parked on the street and worried about the parking attendants. Also failed the MOT which I’m not sure about. I hardly drove the car long distances during the year but effectively would be held hostage as I need my car for my kid.

Hi Jonathan, unfortunately the parking situation on the street is out with our control, the whole area is permit holder spaces, as with everywhere in Edinburgh, and these are controlled by the council. We have our own permits for the garage that we use for customer cars as soon as the vehicle is handed in to us. Regarding the MOT, this is a government-regulated test with strict criteria that we must follow, and we have no discretion over the outcome. We would never fail a vehicle unnecessarily, as there is no benefit to us in doing so. The result is based solely on safety and legal standards. If you have any concerns, you are welcome to seek a second opinion or we can go through the reasons for the failure with you in detail. We understand how important your car is and are happy to help.
