“I Told Them I Didn't Think They Carried Out the Service and they refunded me”

After paying ~£160 for MOT & full service I found washer fluid empty and coolant below minimum. Suspecting work wasn't done, I challenged the garage. The manager initially refused refund claiming the work was "signed off" but refused to show me signoffs as "those are private". A mechanic even claimed that garages never provide work breakdowns—a claim that contradicts standard industry practice. After I refused to accept these excuses, they finally relented and provided a full refund.
